Cleveland, Ohio's The Sidekicks have been busy prepping Weight of Air, the followup to their 2007 Red Scare effort, So Long, Soggy Dog. To get people stoked, they agreed to pen us a series of Dispatches, the second of which we bring you this evening.

After a slight delay due to technical difficulties, we bring you the second of the Bomb The Music Industry! and Fake Problems tour video. This time around it gets… Something. Probably weird. Watch it below.

BTMI released Scrambles earlier this year and Others? Others! most recently while Fake Problems dropped It's Great to Be Alive in 2009. The latter band is headed out on a headlining tour with Kiss Kiss and Ninja Gun soon.

Sakes Alive!!

Sakes Alive!! recording “Act II” (Episode 1)

Rochester, NY's Sakes Alive!! are currently working on their new 7" Act II for Cavity Records. It's the second in a three part series being released on different labels (the first part, Act I, arrived last year on Barrett). The band took a video camera into their makeshift studio and documented their recording progress. Over the next several weeks we'll be bringing you some highlights from the sessions. Here's what they had to say about this clip:

"This episode gives a small glimpse into the struggles and annoyances (more than anything) that the band has with trying to handle the recording process themselves, outside of a studio situation."
