Night Birds have announced what they are calling a mini-album titled Roll Credits. The eight-song record is due out on September 21, 2018 via Fat Wreck Chords as a 12-inch and limited 7-inch box set. The band had their song “My Dad Is the BTK” premiered over at DecibelMagazine.com. They also mentioned in the same Facebook post that they have "reunited with [their] old friend, Mike Hunchback, who played guitar in Night Birds from '09-'12. He produced and played on this album (alongside PJ, of course), and will be playing live with [them] for the first time in 6 years! AJJ have put out a twelve-track release called Ugly Spiral: Lost Works 2012-2016. According to the description, most of the songs on the record were "culled from sessions with Grammy-winning producer John Congleton (St. Vincent, Cloud Nothings), and legendary Mesa, AZ producer Jalipaz Nelson." The physical version will be released on September 14, 2018 via Side One Dummy Records. The band last released Back in the Jazz Coffin [EP] in 2017.
