Violent Femmes have announced US tour dates for this fall. The band will be hitting the road on October 3 in Wilmington, Delaware, and will wrap up the tour on October 18 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Violent Femmes released the deluxe edition of their 1983 self-titled album in 2023 and released their album Hotel Last Resort in 2019. Check out the dates below.
Kerosene Heights have announced that they will be releasing a new album. It is called Blame It On The Weather and will be out on August 15 via SideOneDummy who they signed with earlier this year. The band has also released a new song called “New Tattoo”. Kerosene Heights are currently touring the US. The band released their EP Leaving in 2024. Check out the song below.
Pig Pen have released a new song. It is called “Venom Moon Rising” and is off their upcoming album Mental Madness which will be out on June 27 via Flatspot Records, The band has also announced two new shows for July. They will be playing at the Welland Legion Branch 4 with Exhibition, Big Dog, and Corrosives in Welland, Ontario on July 3 and will be playing at TV Eye in Brooklyn, New York with Jivebomb, Dog Breath, and Corrosives on July 5. Californian hardcore punks Cell Rot have announced that they will be releasing a new record. It is called Parasite and will be out on July 18 via Convulse Records. The record will feature 7 new tracks along with their previously released single “Shadow People” which was released in 2024. The band has also released a new song called “Cannibals”. Upchuck have announced that they’ve signed with Domino Recording Co. and they’ve released their first song on the label. The song is called “Plastic” and comes with a video that was directed by Ian Cone. The band has also announced fall tour dates for the US, Europe, and UK. The tour will begin on September 28 in Austin, Texas, and will wrap up on November 19 in Düdingen, Switzerland. Tickets go on sale on June 20. Pygmy Lush has released a new song. It is called “It Wasn’t a Compliment (Martial Law Blues)” and is off their upcoming album TOTEM. TOTEM was originally recorded in 2016 and will be out for the first time on July 11 via Persistent Vision Records. Check out the song below.
Chicago-based noise rock duo Latter has announced that they will be releasing a new EP. It is called What Lives Inside of Me and will be out everywhere on July 25. The band has also released a video for their new song “Hope You Love Her” which features choreography by lead vocalist Meredith Haines who dances in the video along with Sam Crouch. The Hives have released a video for their new song “Paint A Picture”. The video was directed by Filip Nilsson and Henry Moore Selder. The song is off their upcoming album The Hives Forever Forever The Hives which will be out on August 29. The Hives kick off the first leg of their world tour next month.
