Motorhead release video for “Leaving Here”

Motorhead have released a video for "Leaving Here." This particular cut of the song is taken from The Manticore Tapes, which is an hereto unreleased session where the band was working on what would be their first album in 1976.

In 1979, On Parole was released. On Parole was comprised of recordings taken from the band's aborted first sessions for the first album, which occurred in 1975, before the Manticore sessions. The band's "true" first album, Motorhead was recorded in 1977 after the Manticore sessions. All three Lps have most of the same songs. The mian difference between On Parole and subsequent attempts at the band's first album is that On Parole has Larry Wallis of Pink Fairies on guitar, while the other releases have classic Motorhead member Fast Eddie Clarke.

The lineup on the Manticore recordings are Lemmy (bass/vocals), Fast Eddie Clarke (guitar) and Phil ‘Philthy Animal’ Taylor (drums). The album is out June 27 and you can check out the video below.

Joe Jack Talcum in new season of Albie's Elevator

Albie's Elevator is a show on WHYY wherein Albie, "an elevator operator with PIZAZZ, explores the ups and downs of preschool problem solving." Season 2 debuts this summer and none other than Joe Jack Talcum of Dead Milkmen is in the new season. He plays "Pepperoni Sam." You can see a trailer below.

Laura Jane Grace In The Trauma Tropes: “Wearing Black”

Laura Jane Grace in the Trauma Tropes, the band made up of made up of Laura Jane Grace, Paris Campbell Grace, Jacopo Fokas, and Orestis Lagadinos, have released a video for their new song “Wearing Black”. The video was directed, produced, and edited by Emily Esperanza. The song is off their upcoming album Adventure Club which will be out on July 18 via Polyvinyl Record Co.

Laura Jane Grace will be touring North America supporting Murder By Death on their farewell tour starting later this month. Check out the video below.

Hard Chiller release “Soft Trip” video

Hard Chiller have released a video for their new song “Soft Trip”. The song is off their upcoming debut full-length album Baby! which will be out on August 1 via Born Losers Records. Hard Chiller will be touring the US with The Sound of Animals Fighting in September and released their EP Heavy Cell in 2024. Check out the video below.

Buckets release “Slipping” video

Los Angeles-based indie punks Buckets have released a video for their new song “Slipping”. The video was directed by Brandon Tasker and features Sarah Harris of Dolly Creamer and Branden Wilbarger of Bonavega. Buckets will be touring the US this summer and released their EP Good Luck Bad Dog in 2023. Check out the video and dates below.

Black Flag debuts new lineup

Black Flag has debuted their new lineup live- Gregg Ginn (guitar), Max Zanelly (vocals), David Rodriguez (bass), Bryce Weston (drums). The band played their first set in the new incarnation in Bulgaria. They tour Europe for about 30 shows. You can see the debut below.

Scowl release KEXP live session

Scowl have recorded a KEXP live performance. The session was recorded on March 31, 2025 and finds the band performing four tracks from their album Are We All Angels which was released earlier this year.
