A Wilhelm Scream announce ‘Ruiner’ 20th anniversary shows (US)

A Wilhelm Scream have announced a handful of shows to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their 2005 album Ruiner. The band will be playing the album in full along with other songs. The shows will take place in December in Garwood, New Jersey, Baltimore, Maryland, and New Bedford, Massachusetts. A Wilhelm Scream released their album Lose Your Delusion in 2022. Sick New World, the one day mega-festival that features short sets by dozens of artists has announced a Texas installment. That's October 24, 2026 (just over a year from now) in Fort Worth Texas. Just about 50 bands play the one day event, including System of a Down, Deftones, Slayer celebrating Reign in Blood, Melvins, Ministry, Scowl, Power trip, Evanescence, Marilyn Manson, AFI, Ministry, and a whole bunch more. Ice Cube, Chuck D of Public Enemy, and LL Cool J have released a new digital single. It's called "Before Hip Hop" and is curiously identified as a "premix." Thursday issues statement on Spotify's ICE ads

About two weeks ago, Spotify starting running ICE recruitment advertisements on its platform. According to various sources, the ICE ads reportedly offer a $50,000 signing bonus and began showing up for users on Spotify’s lower-tier pricing plans.. Thursday, along with a number of other bands have criticized Spotify for running these adds. You can see Thursday's statement below.

Similarly, a number of band shave left spotify recently including Xiu Xiu, King Gizzard, Hotline TNT, Massive Attack, Deerhoof, and Godpseed you black emperor.

Glasgow-based artist Iona Zajac (who recently wrapped up a tour of North America as part of The Pogues) has released a video for her new song “Murder Mystery”. The video was directed by Zillah Rauter and was produced by Yasmin Robinow. The song is off her upcoming album Bang which will be out on November 21.
