Best Midwestern - Episode 24

Punknews.org's Best Midwestern podcast, focusing on the music of the U.S. Midwest, is back this week with a new episode. On this episode Greg and Scott present a twist on the "classic album episode" in which the guys educate each other on a classic the other person hadn't heard (at least in full) until the day before recording. Greg schools Scott on the Dead Boys Young Loud and Snotty and Scott schools Greg on Cheap Trick's second record In Color. Both albums happen to have been released in October of 1977, and we all know that the best year for music in all of popular music history was 1977. We also hear a Bowie tribute from midwesterner Greg Dulli of The Afghan Whigs.

All this and we open the mailbag and chat about our recent record store finds.
