Ten Foot Pole and Benny and The No-Goods release 'ADD/ADHD Split'

Long-running California punks Ten Foot Pole and Indianapolis one man pop-punk band Benny and the No-Goods have teamed up for an ADD/ADHD themed split seven inch with all profits to be donated to the Brain and Behavior Research Foundation. BBRF is a major source of funding for research into the treatment and management of disorders like ADD and ADHD. Ten Foot Pole contributes "ADD", which appeared on their 2017 LP Setlist . Benny and the NoGoods chip in "ADHD", which will be on the upcoming Nothing's Cool full length. Both songs have fun with topic, even while acknowledging its seriousness. The cover art is by Paul Russel, who is best known for his work with Screeching Weasel. The seven inch will be limited to 300 copies in transparent blue, and is expected to ship in August.

Punknews is excited to premiere a new track from Toronto pop-punk act Coming Clean! The song, "Burning Bridges," is off of the quartet's upcoming EP Dead End // Detour, which is due out this Friday, May 3rd. Bad Buzz: "Day and Night"

Bad Buzz: “Day and Night”

Punknews is chuffed to bring you the next new track from Bad Buzz's new album Try Harder. "Day and Night" is the second song released from the upcoming album, which is due out May 31st. If this all seems familiar, the band debuted the first track from the EP here on Punknews two weeks ago, and we'll keep bringing you a new track every two weeks up until the release of the EP.

While the previous song, "Talkin' Shit," was a mid-tempo, cheery romp, this one's a bit harder, a bit snottier, but still a kick to listen to.

Bad Buzz is playing a hometown launch party the night of release, and you can check out the details of that, as well as listen to the new song, below.

Punknews is excited to premiere a new single from UK act Tape It Shut. The track, "Self Deprecating Humour," is off of the band's upcoming Dinosaurs VS Robots EP, which is due out May 4th. The song is unabashedly English punk in its delivery, and very reminiscent of Dick Lucas' acts SUBHUMANS UK and Citizen Fish.

Per vocalist/guitarist Dan Kilvert, the song exposes some deep personal sentiments:

Check out Down Memory Lane's newest EP “Catch”

Punknews is delighted to premiere Down Memory Lane's new EP, Catch, in full a day before it is officially released! This Montreal-based melodic punk quintet has always had an uncanny knack for capturing the best of the late-90s EpiFat sound, while adding a more contemporary feel to the compositions. This new EP definitely lives up to the standard that DML has set, and more!

As previously reported, Catch is a companion piece to last year's Release EP. While both EPs are digital-only, they will be combined into the LP Catch & Release for physical distribution via Thousand Islands Records, available May 11th. On that date they will also be playing their EP release show (details below).

Until tomorrow when you can pick up a digital copy of your own, feel free to enjoy the EP in full, courtesy of Punknews.
