Today we are excited to bring you a stream of the new release from Joey Cape of Lagwagon and Tony Sly of No Use For a Name, entitled Acoustic Volume 2. The release is the follow up to 2004's Acoustic. The pair each recorded five acoustic renditions of Lagwagon and No Use For a Name songs as well as each contributing an original track of their own.

Today's stream comes from Granite City MA-based Continental. The band is the latest project from prolific guitarist and producer Rick Barton who was a member of the Dropkick Murphys for their first few releases including 1998's Do Or Die and 1999's The Gang's All Here. He went on to form Everybody Out! and also reunited with fellow Dropkick Alumnus Mike McColgan to produce 2010's Street Dogs. Today we're happy to bring you an exclusive stream of a never-before-released acoustic version of "Megellan" from Samiam. The track appears on Another Hopeless Summer, a compilation from the Hopeless Records due out June 12, 2012. The electric version of "Magellan" originally appeared on 2011's Trips .

As for the compilation, it's set to include rare and previously unreleased songs from Hopeless-signed acts including: Yellowcard, We Are The In Crowd, The Used, Enter Shikari, Silverstein, The Wonder Years, The Dangerous Summer.
