Anti-Fascist melodic punks Strike Anywhere is heading to the land down under to play a few shows with Adelaide’s Paper Arms. Paper Arms will be reuniting for this run of dates after calling it quits in 2016. Tickets for this run of dates are on sale now. Strike Anywhere last released In Defiance of Empty Times in 2012.

B.A. Johnston

B.A. Johnston (Canada, UK)

Hamilton, Ontario's beloved lowbrow showman B.A. Johnston has announced a tour in support of his coming full-length The Skid Is Hot Tonight. He'll take his eccentric one-man act on the road in Canada from February through April, followed by a run of UK dates in May. While details are forthcoming, he'll visit Germany in late May followed by the a stint in the Canadian Maritimes this June. The tour will feature appearances from bands like Beef Boys, Flesh Rag, J Blissette, and Deathsticks on various dates. The Skid Is Hot Tonight, the follow-up to 2017's Gremlins 3, was recorded last November at The Quarantine studio in Port Greville, Nova Scotia with Colleen Collins and Dave Trenaman (of Construction & Destruction). Mathias Kom of The Burning Hell produced the record. Transistor 66 will release the album this February.

PUP just announced they will be releasing Morbid Stuff this April. The band will be touring North America, the UK and Europe to support the release, playing with bands like Milk Teeth and Ratboys. Pre-sale for these shows go on sale today, with $1 from each sale of pre-sale tickets will go towards The Trevor Project, to provide crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to LGBTQ youth. On The Cinder announce coast to coast US tour

Buffalo, NY melodic/hardcore trio On The Cinder have announced they will be embarking on a nationwide tour of the USA starting at the end of this month and going through February.

On the Cinder's new album, Lamplighter is due out later this year on Between The Days Records. Their most recent release, The Fight Against Ourselves, dropped in 2016. You can check out the track "Gen Y" from that album, as well as the tour dates, below.

Tough Age / Business of Dreams (Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal)

Toronto trio Tough Age are taking Los Angeles' Business of Dreams on a brief Canadian tour later this month. The bands will play shows in Toronto, Ottawa, and Montreal on the trek. Business of Dreams is the solo project of Corey Cunningham, who's known for a 15-year stint with San Francisco indie-pop group Magic Bullets along with Slumberland Records punk group Terry Malts. Business of Dreams has a new full-length titled Ripe for Anarchy out on February 1st via Slumberland. Tough Age last released Shame in 2017 on Mint.
