Helmet announces US tour

Long-running alternative metal act Helmet have finalized their tour schedule for the summer, including a run of dates with 90's alternative rockers Bush starting in July.

Helmet, who enjoyed minor mainstream success in the early-90s, disbanded in 1998 before reforming again in 2004. Founder member Page Hamilton, vocalist and guitarist, is the only original member of the band.

Helmet's most recent album, Dead to the World, was released in 2016 on earMUSIC.

Elvis Costello announces 2018 tour dates

The legendary Elvis Costello has announced new tour dates to round out the year. At the end of the month he will be over in Europe and the UK, finishing up in July. A single date at this year's Riot Fest follows in September, after which he will embark on a nationwide US tour in November (with a stop up in Canada, for good measure). Costello's most recent release album, 2013's Wise Up Ghost, was a collaboration with hip-hop artistsThe Roots.

Against Me!/Ted Leo And The Pharmacists (Denver)

Against Me! have announced two shows at the Summit Music Hall in Denver, CO with Ted Leo And The Pharmacists that are scheduled for October. For the first show Against Me! will be playing their album As the Eternal Cowboy in its entirety and for the second show they will be playing their album New Wave in its entirety. The band's last full-length was Shape Shift With Me , which was released in 2016. You can see the list of shows below.

Days N Daze/We The Heathens (Europe)

Houston's crust/folk punk outfit Days N'' Daze have announced a run of summer shows across Europe alongside We The Heathens. The band last released Crustfall last year via Pumpkin Records. Check out the full list of dates below.

Strife (California)

Strife have announced some California tour dates that are scheduled August. The band will be playing their 1997 album In This Defiance in its entirety at these shows. They will also be playing a normal set at the Garden Amphitheatre in Garden Grove, CA. You can see the list of tour dates below.

Brian Fallon has announced a US tour with Craig Finn that is scheduled for October. Brian Fallon released Sleepwalkers in 2018. You can see the list of shows below.

Arms Aloft/Guerilla Poubelle (West Coast/Southwest)

Arms Aloft and Guerilla Poubelle have announced some west coast and southwest tour dates (as well as a some midwestern shows) that are scheduled for July. Arms Aloft last released What A Time To Be Barely Alive in 2016. You can see the list of shows below.

The RocknRoll Hi-Fives (U.S.)

New Jersey "family" pop-punk band The RocknRoll Hi-Fives are going on tour this summer in support of their upcoming debut album from Little Dickman Records. The album, titled Re-Introducing the RocknRoll Hi-Fives is scheduled for a June 29 release.
