Raygun Cowboys announce 25th anniversary Canadian tour

Raygun Cowboys have announced Canadian tour dates to celebrate their 25th anniversary. Doghouse Rose will be joining them on select dates, including their date at Pouzza Fest in Montreal on May 16. The tour will begin on May 8 in Regina, Saskatchewan and wrap up on June 6 in Edmonton, Alberta.

An Instagram statement released alongside the dates reads in part,

"I also wanted to let you know that 2025 will be our last tour for quite some time. I’ve spent most of my adult life, pushing the Raygun Cowboys and it has been the focus of my life for more than half my life. Now the time has come time for me to focus on other things. So come out everyone and see us for one more kick at the can. More dates to be announced for Canada and Europe soon, see you on the road friends!"

The Pogues announce North American 'Rum, Sodomy, and The Lash' 40th anniversary tour

The Pogues have announced North American tour dates to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Rum, Sodomy, and The Lash. This run of shows will take place in September, starting in Washington, DC on September 5 and wrapping up on September 17 at Terminal 5 in New York. For this tour, the lineup of the Pogues is Jem Finer, Spider Stacy, James Fearnley, Holly Mullineaux, Daragh Lynch, Jordan O’Leary, Fiachra Meek, Jim Sclavunos, Iona Zajac, John Francis Flynn, Lisa O’Neill, Nadine Shah, and James Walbourne. Tickets go on sale on April 4. The Pogues will be touring the UK in May. Check out the North American dates below.

The Filthy Radicals and The Write-Ups to tour Ontario and Quebec

Toronto-based skacore band The Filthy Radicals and Flint, Michigan-based ska band The Write-Ups have announced that they will be hitting the road this spring. The bands will be touring around Ontario and Quebec. The trek will kick off on May 29 in Montreal, Quebec, and will wrap up on June 2 in Windsor, Ontario. The Filthy Radicals will be playing Pouzza Fest in Montreal on May 16 and released their record The Fine Line Between Real and Insane in 2021. The Write-Ups released their self-titled album in 2024. The Hives

The Hives announce new album, share “Enough Is Enough” video, to go on world tour

The Hives have announced that they will be releasing a new album. It is called The Hives Forever Forever The Hives and will be out on August 29 via PIAS. The album was co-produced by Mike D of Beastie Boys and Pelle Gunnerfeldt (who also produced their albums Tyrannosaurus Hives, Your New Favourite Band, Veni Vidi Vicious, A.K.A. I-D-I-O-T, and Barely Legal). The band has released a video for their first single “Enough Is Enough” which was directed by Stephen Ellis.

The Hives have also announced dates for a world tour which will see them playing the US, Australia, Japan, BC, Europe, and the UK. The tour will begin on July 17 in Fremantle, Washington, and wrap up on December 6 in Stockholm, Sweden. The Hives released their album The Death of Randy Fitzsimmons in 2023. Dogs On Acid have announced that they will be heading out on a US tour to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their 2015 self-titled album. The shows will start on April 26 in Brooklyn, New York, and will wrap up on June 15 in Troy, New York. The band will also be reissuing the record on Lauren Records. Tickets go on sale to the general public on April 4 but pre-sales will begin on April 1. This is the band's first North American tour with Frank Carter on vocals. Superchunk release new song, to tour US in fall

Superchunk have released a new song. It is called “Bruised Lung” and features guest vocals and guitar from Rosali. The song appears to be a standalone single and is available digitally now via Merge Records. Superchunk has also announced US tour dates for this fall. The tour will begin on September 9 in Washington, DC, and wrap up on October 23 in Los Angeles, California. Tickets go on sale March 28.
