It was shot at the Red Carpet Inn in Bushwick and was directed by William Hart. The title track recasts an NYC institution—the Museum of Sex—as a kind of glitchy psychic landscape, rather than a physical place… The narrator tries to understand the history of human sexuality, but is plagued by unreliable memories and ulterior motives.”

The Museum of Sex 7-inch will be out on November 14 via One Track Mind Records and along with the title track, will feature a new song called “Gaslight”. You can pre-order the 7-inch right here. Mega Infinity

Watch the new video by Mega Infinity!

Today, we are very excited to bring you the premiere of the new song and video by Mega Infinity! The song is called “Temperance” and the video was directed by lead vocalist Michi DiGiulio. “Temperance” is their first single since signing with Say-10 Records and the first song off their upcoming second album Harmonic Convergence. It is also the first recording to feature their bassist, Gabi Frost. The track features Andrew Heaton of Joystick! and Flying Raccoon Suit on trombone, Dani Dross of Plastic Presidents on trumpet, and Bex Rose of PWRUP, Joystick!, and Knifethroat on Bari sax. Speaking to Punknews about the song, Michi said,

”The main riff of the song is easily one of my favorites Mike has ever written. When we were working on the track instrumentally, it reminded me of some of my favorite metal and hardcore songs. It reminded me of our younger days when we had first met - when he was in a progressive metalcore band. It was like his talent I saw from the first day I saw him perform met with the respect and adoration we have for bands we get to play with in the ska scene, like Flying Raccoon Suit, Sgt. Scag, PWRUP, and Stuck Lucky.

Everything I wrote lyrically initially just didn't say "my favorite song" the way I wanted it to. I had a really hard time writing this song initially because I couldn't figure out what it was about from the riff. For a long time, the lyrics were, “Let's go Rangers," because it felt like the kind of song you hear at a hockey game or a wrestler's intro song. That's why I decided it needed to have a horn section - I wanted it to feel like a metal song with a marching band to match. Andy from Flying Raccoon Suit helped bring that to life with Mike together in the arrangement. To me, the song has this ambition musically to just motivate you. I wanted the lyrics to match that in a way that felt authentic.

Finally, I consulted my tarot deck. I pulled a tarot card and a second card fell out. The first was Temperance and the second was The Chariot.  To me, the Temperance card represents the patience and time you spend waiting in the middle between one phase of life or a project or the next. It's that moderation and restraint you need to show in the time to strategize. It's recognizing the time in which you rest, visualize, and dream to prepare to go. The Chariot is a card to me that symbolizes knowing you don't have to push, that circumstances will pull you to the next level. The two together formed into lyrics about moving towards what you feel is your destiny after a lot of careful deliberation and planning.”

Harmonic Convergence will be out in early 2026 via Say-10 Records. Mega Infinity will be touring down to FEST with PWRUP and Joker’s Republic starting on October 18 and you can see the full dates below. Watch the video for “Temperance” below!

Bad Mary

Watch and listen to Bad Mary's new live album!

Today we are thrilled to bring you the premiere of Bad Mary’s new live album, Live on Long Island, in video form! It was recorded live at their show at Industry in Long Island on February 21, 2025 and captures the magic of that show. The band played tracks from Trash and Glamour, The Mega Bad Disaster Party (with special guests from Samurai Pizza Cats and Crisis Crayons), Return of Space Girl, Glitter Bomb, We Could Have Saved the World, Killing Dinosaurs, and Better Days plus a cover of “Tie Your Mother Down” by Queen. Speaking to Punknews about the album, bassist Mike Staub said,

“We always wanted to do a live album - and while we do have live video and audio from past shows - we've never sat down to plot out a live record. We write our music first and foremost to be performed live. We want to have a good time playing and want to perform songs that are equally fun for the audience. We're all in the show together! So, when coming up with the idea to finally make a full, live album, we were excited to get after it right away.

We had booked Industry in Huntington, NY for our EP Release party with our friends Mega Infinity (get the Mega Bad Disaster Party now on SPI Records!) and have always loved that club. The sound, the vibes, the audiences are always terrific. We floated the idea since we knew we'd have a great audience there for the EP release to record the show live and put out a live album. Figured it was our best opportunity to do so.

We wanted to pick a setlist that hit all the highs of the past 12/13 years, so you get to hear a lot of our classics, and even a few newer ones in there too. We knew we had a lot of time to play with, so we chose 16 songs we love to perform live. This track list really represents our band's journey over the years from our first album until our newest original songs. With all the live energy and audience sound that we very much appreciate. We're so happy with how it came out.

We got some videographers (thanks Maya, Katie, and Dan) and were able to get the audio right from the club. It was then that David also wanted to piece this together and do individual videos for songs, but also a full live concert video - something we've never released. We wanted to include all the bits, the jokes, the stage banter, as they weave in and out with the songs - giving the viewer the true feel of what it's like at one of our shows. David did an incredible amount of work - and put something very special together - something that we think is uniquely us in every way it can be.”

Live on Long Island will be out everywhere on July 15 and you can pre-save it right here. Watch the show in full below!

Today we are stoked to bring you the premiere of the new video by Butterbrain! The video is for their song “Alterboy” which is off their recently released album Armageddon Party and features a tenor sax solo from Angelo Moore of Fishbone who also co-wrote the track with frontman Aaron Collins. The video was directed by Jorge “Lolo” Rodriguez, the brother of guitarist Juan “Bebe” Rodriguez. Speaking about the song and video the band said,

”This track is pure pop-punk fun, a song about a kid (an altar boy) gone wrong - lost to a world of sex, drugs, and rock 'n' roll. The video was filmed in Rockaway Beach, Queens, and Bushwick, Brooklyn. It came together quickly with the help of some cameos, including NY guitar legend Simon Chardiet (as the priest), Rockaway jiu-jitsu fighter Kevin McGarry (as the altar boy), and cabaret dancer Lulu Kramer (as the party girl). The part of “the parents” was played by Butterbrain frontman and woman Aaron Collins and Sally May. This is the third video directed by Jorge "Lolo" Rodriguez for Butterbrain and is our favorite to date.”

Rose Cora Perry And The Truth Untold

Watch the new video by Rose Cora Perry and The Truth Untold!

Today we are thrilled to bring you the premiere of the new video by Rose Cora Perry and The Truth Untold! The song is called “Excuses” and is the third single off their upcoming EP One Thing Left to Say. The video was directed by Rose Cora Perry and Emanuel Benyamin. Speaking to Punknews about the track the band said,

”Inspired by frontwoman Rose Cora Perry's parting with her former musical partner, it is an unapologetic breakup song. Think Alanis. She holds nothing back.

But it's also much more than that: the lyrics demand "accountability" and "responsibility" - values we should likewise seek in all affiliations whether romantic, political, social, or otherwise.

In the accompanying music video, Perry's notorious Kathryn Gunn persona re-emerges, setting fire to the past - metaphorically and literally - and ushering in a new era for her band, accompanied by bassist Jessie Taynton and drummer Steve Skrtich.

Fans will appreciate the band sticking true to their 90s-inspired alt-rock aesthetic; this time coupled with an upbeat punk rhythm.

If you're ‘sick’ of ‘Excuses’, this song is definitely for you.”

"Excuses" will be out everywhere now and Rose Cora Perry and The Truth Untold will be touring around the US and Canada this summer. Watch the video below!
