Webbed Wing: “Sure Could Use A Friend”
Webbed Wing just released a single for "Sure Could Use A Friend". This comes as the band just announced a new EP, Right After I Smoke This…. The release is out not though Memory Music. The band will be out on a spring tour with Drug Church, Prince Daddy and The Hyena and Anxious.
Scowl: “Shot Down”
Scowl have released a video for their new song “Shot Down”. The video was directed by guitarist Malachi Green and picks up where the “Opening Night” video left off. The song is off their upcoming EP Psychic Dance Routine which will be out April 7 via Flatspot Records. Scowl are currently touring North America with Show Me The Body, Jesus Piece, ZUlu, and TRiPP JONES and released their album How Flowers Grow in 2021. Check out the video below.

Instrumental band Covet released a video for "Firebird", see below. The single is off of their upcoming new album titled Catharsis, out April 7th through Triple Crown Records. The band will be out on tour this spring in the US and Canada to support the release.

Knife Club have released a video for their new song “Repeat, Repeat”. The video was shot during their set at the Manchester Punk Festival in 2022 by Mark Richards and Julian Wallinger. New York City gloom punkers Desert Sharks have released a video for their new song “Sleepy Pie”. The video was directed and produced by Jeanette D. Moses. The song is off their upcoming EP The Tower which will be out March 31 via Substitute Scene Records. Desert Sharks released their album Baby’s Gold Death Stadium in 2019. Check out the video below.
Sarah and The Safe Word: “Sky On Fire”
Sarah and The Safe Word have released a video for their new song “Sky On Fire”. The video was directed by Edward Tumulty. Lead vocalist Sarah Rose said of the song and video, “This song was inspired directly from our experiences being queer in America in 2023. We filmed this in an abandoned school that was closed in 2005, because we felt like it was appropriate - the song is about broken promises, unkind humans, and still hoping for a better tomorrow.”
The song is off their upcoming album The Book Of Broken Glass which will be out April 7 via Take This To Heart Records. Sarah and The Safe Word will be touring the US and Canada with Shayfer James this spring. The band re-released their album Strange Doings in the Night in 2022 (we spoke to Sarah Rose about it in December - check that out right here!) and released their album Good Gracious! Morgan and the Organ Donors, the band made up of Tobi Vail of Bikini Kill, Olivia Ness of COCO, Sara Peté, and James Maeda of Spider and the Webs, have released a video for their new song “Letter”. The video was filmed at Xanadont and was directed by Jolie M-A. The song is off their upcoming album M.O.D.s which will be out April 28 via K Records / Perennial.
