The Ataris (South America)
After their recent breakup with their label Columbia, The Ataris have announced an upcoming fall trip through South America.
The band remains unsigned, despite selling nearly a million copies of their last record; prior to the label split, the band spent a number of months recording Welcome the Night, which follows up 2003's So Long, Astoria and is the first with the band's seven piece lineup. A release was expected in July. The band's most recent release was 2004's Live At the Metro CD.
