Spanish Love Songs strips down for Punks in Vegas

In their latest "Stripped Down Sessions," Punks in Vegas catch up with L.A. natives Spanish Love Songs for a melodically melancholic rendition of "Concrete" and "Remainder" from their self-released debut album (aptly titled) Giant Sings the Blues. Burdened with the rawness of love and loss, singer/guitarist Dylan Slocum and guitarist Kyle McAulay acoustically reinforce the four-piece band's claim of being "for fans of boxed wine, divorce and self-doubt." But the sorrow isn't sappy or forced; rather, Slocum's anxious voice betrays a rawness that is equal parts hard-earned and carefully crafted. Check out the videos below, filmed pre-show behind Beauty Bar (LV), and listen to all of Giant Sings the Blues here.
