Lifetime 'Two Songs' 7" test press

Continuing in the recent tradition of giving away awesome limited vinyl here at the 'Org, Fueled by Ramen / Decaydence has teamed up with us to give one lucky winner a(n extremely limited) test press of Lifetime's forthcoming two-song 7" single, the appropriately titled Two Songs, as well as a shirt to sport along with it.

Two Songs will contain the band's first offering of new material since 1997's Jersey's Best Dancers (Jade Tree), but also follows up this year's reissue/compilation pack Somewhere in the Swamps of Jersey (Jade Tree). It will be released Nov. 21, and precede a new full-length expected in 2007.

Our friends in Casket Salesmen recently released their debut full length which marked a stark departure from the post-hardcore of their former band, A Static Lullaby. Infused with touches of hardcore, metal and rock. The album, Sleeping Giants is drawing comparisons to everyone from Bleach-era Nirvana to Queens of the Stone Age and King Crimson.

Earlier this week, Victory dropped five new releases on the world; the discs span every genre - from the theatrical Aiden to the bone-crushing hardcore of Scars of Tomorrow.

Music and politcs blog Product Shop NYC is hosting a showcase at Studio B in Williamsburg, Brooklyn on Friday, November 3rd. Past showcase's have featured Tapes 'N Tapes, Peaches, Eugene Mirman, Groups Sounds, The Subjects while this years includes the Thermals, Birdmonster and the Horros.
