Copenhagen import psychos the HorrorPops are hitting the slowly defrosting roads of Canada this April with their Hellcat labelmates Left Alone. Thrasher Magazine recently released the 12th instalment of their long running Skate Rock compilation series. The audio side of the CD / DVD DualDisc features new songs from Alkaline Trio, Millencolin, Only Crime, the Riverboat Gamblers, the Heartaches (feat. Kristian Svitak), Gnarkill (feat. Bam Margera), U.S.S.R (feat. Tony Trujillo) and Die Hunns (feat. Duane Peters, of course). The DVD side features a documentary on the long and sordid relationship between skateboarding and rock music. It includes interviews with Duane Peters, Tony Trujillo and Steve Caballero as well as footage from Turbonegro's performance at the 2004 Thrasher Magazine Skater Of The Year Awards. No Trigger is preparing to release their much anticipated debut full-length, Canyoneer, on Nitro on March 21st. What better way to get excited than to win a bunch of cool crap? No, seriously, as the band and label are teaming up to give one grand prize winner a mailbox full of virtually everything the band can throw at you, including a copy of Canyoneer itself and a $20 gift certificate to downloadpunk.

The 2006 edition of the cross-Canada Frostbite Tour kicks off in a few weeks. A hearty collection of bands will bravely fight back against the winter this year, reclaiming the roads and melting the frozen hearts of many a Canadian punk rock fan. Starting on March 18th in Vancouver, BC Death By Stereo, Bigwig, Big D And the Kids Table, and the Flatliners will make the journey. Mustard Plug will join up with them on March 28th in London, ON and will remain on it through the April 1st conclusion in Quebec City.

In just under three weeks, Anti-Flag will be releasing For Blood and Empire. The album is their first for RCA Records and would be controversial even without the wealth of leftish essays, confrontational lyrics and the fact that the band's hometown won the Superbowl.
To celebrate the release, the band has agreed to give one lucky winner a signed copy of the new record, a complete discography, a t-shirt of their choice and a mysterious bag of swag. Five runner ups will get a copy of their brand new album.
With their first DVD due out, definitive street punk label Punkcore has decided to celebrate by giving a Punknews.org reader a copy of the DVD, a sampler from the label and a shirt.
The DVD compilation, Pure Punk Rock is a two hour DVD with live performances, music videos and interviews will be released on March 7th, 2006.
