Benji Cossa, (Damn) This Desert Air, Stuck Lucky

Brooklyn's Benji Cossa will release his second studio album Between the Blue and the Green on June 19th via Serious Business Records. The work is described as a mix of "outsider-folk, classic AM pop, lo-fi indie rock, and roots music." The label has out the song "Sunset" online for download.

(Damn) This Desert Air features former members of a number of bands including Ex Number Five, Instruction, Elemae, Nora, Errortype: 11 and Merciana. The band recently uploaded new music to their MySpace site.

Nashville's Stuck Lucky have released a split LP with Tampa's Arm The Poor We Never Sleep. Each band contributes five songs, with Arm The Poor including their entire From America EP and Stuck Lucky including three new songs and two re-recorded versions of past tracks. Lockstep (ex-Naptones), The Indecision Alarm, Aeroplane 1929

Indianapolis punk/reggae act Lockstep have posted the first two mp3s from their upcoming release on their myspace page.

Punk act The Indecision Alarm has posted two new recording of songs set to appear on a split release with Enemy Alliance. ("Alienation Process" and "Where Every Fucking Dream Is Killed") You can find the songs on their myspace page.

Tracks off of the new Aeroplane, 1929 album The Holy Ghost have been posted on the bands myspace and the Topshelf Records myspace. The band will be hitting the road in June 21st to support the release of the album.

Love Me Electric, The Status, Get Rad (ex-Kung Fu Rick, Since By Man)

Love Me Electric has posted 2 new demos off of there next release on there myspace for your enjoyment. Leave them a comment telling them what you think. The band also has a small Midwest Leg with the band The Spotlight. You can check out the music at the dates on their myspace page.

The Status has posted a new demo on their myspace page called "This is Not Goodbye". The band is being managed by Anthony Raneri from Bayside and will be in New York at General Studios next week with Anthony producing. They're going to be doing some dates later this month with Bayside and will be on the road all summer. You can find the music here.

Milwaukee hardcore band Get Rad (members of Kung Fu Rick and Since By Man) has posted two new songs, one from a split 7" with fellow Milwaukee band Protestant and one from an upcoming 7" entitled Bastards United. You can check out the songs here.

Legitimate Business, Gray Lines of Perfection, Sister Lovers

New Jersey ska-punks Legitimate Business, who's music was featured in the hit video game Tony Hawk's Project 8,have completed their new four song EP If You Can't Take The Heat…. The band has posted a two minute sampler of all four tracks on their MySpace page along with a new version of the song "It's Not Murder (If You're Already Dead)" for free download. The EP hits stores on June 26th.

Canadian label Harvest Earth Records has signed Gray Lines of Perfection. The Monroe, New Jersey band plans an early 2008 release on the label, and will be on tour throughout July and August. Check their MySpace page for music and tour dates.

Syracuse based dance rock outfit the Sister Lovers will soon release a new self titled debut EP via Barrett Records. The label namechecks the Arcade Fire when describing the band's sound. Music from the release can be found via MySpace.

Forty Lashes, the Sixteens, Times Nine

Detroit's Forty Lashes have posted a new song and video online titled "Combat Carl." The band is set to hit the road this month a well for a short US east coast tour. You can find all the details via their MySpace page.

San Francisco / Berlin synthpunk band the Sixteens have unveiled a new song via MySpace titled "Chapel of the Chimes." The song will appear on this summer's Hex vinyl compilation on Holland's Enfant Terrible Records. The band recently released their full length Into the Gold-Wave of Future Non-Rip Off via Hungry Eye Records.

Poughkeepsie, New York's Times Nine have posted two new songs online from their upcoming third EP. You can stream "Kill the Fat Kid" and "F.U.H.C." via, you guessed it, MySpace.

Minotaur Explode, SuperSmashers, The Mad Conductor (ex-No Cash)

The UK's Minotaur Explode, which features former members of HighRise and ex-Secondsmile singer Olly Goodland, have finished recording at the Outhouse Studio in Reading. A new song from the band is available via their MySpace page and will appear on an upcoming self-titled EP due this summer.

Minneapolis ska-punk band the SuperSmashers recently released a new full length Someday and are touring to support it. You can check their MySpace page to preview some of the new songs.

Pennsylvania's Mad Conductor, featuring Chris of defunct crack rock steady act No Cash, has announced a tour of hte UK and US. You can find the dates along with their new single "Venom" on their MySpace page. The song appears on their upcoming CD Renegade Space Rock, due on June 26.

Montreal's Bad Flirt, who were recently voted Mary Kate and Ashley's favorite band, have posted some music and announced some touring plans as they work on their new album with producer Howard Blierman. Omaha, Nebraska's The Recession has signed with Blood & Ink Records. Their debut full length Time, Arithmetic & Other Elementary Subjects Not Well Learned will be available in August and samples of the band's music can be heard via MySpace.http://www.myspace.com/therecession.

Long Island NY's Anxious Arms have announced summer tour dates in the US midwest and east coast, following which they'll hit the studio to record their debut full length and follow up to 2006's Vs The Volcano. You can preview songs and check out the dates via MySpace.

The Wading Girl has added three new songs from their new self-recorded EP The Miriam Demos via myspace. The Roanoke, VA based band will be opening for Tim Barry on his upcoming tour and playing as his backing band.

Hardline Entertainment act Phathom have announced the release of their new album Zombie Love on June 12th, 2007. It is the follow-up to their self-titled record which was released in 2006. In support of the new release the band has been booked once again on the entire Vans Warped Tour. This year starting on the Famly Line Stage sponsored by Famly Clothing (Kevin Lyman and Fletcher of Pennywise's clothing line) and doing several dates on the Kevin Says stage.
