Park: 'Jacob the Rabbit' [EP]

Park have posted a stream of their new EP, Jacob the Rabbit. It's due out July 15, 2014 and acts as the prologue to a forthcoming full-length based on a story written by frontman Ladd Mitchell. It's also the band's first recorded material in eight years.

Sacramento, CA-based post rock outfit Early & Often are streaming their new EP, Present No Fiction, Fear No Tense; find it at their Bandcamp page. The band is recommended for fans of Mogwai, Radiohead, etc.

Massachusetts hardcore group Plagues has made their self-titled EP available for free download here. Their sound might be compared to that of Cursed, The Hope Conspiracy, His Hero is Gone, etc. Physical copies of the EP are said to be on the way.

Orlando, FL-based progressive indie rock stalwarts Great Decievers are streaming three new tracks at their Bandcamp page. The songs appear on their new self-released album Seasons in Reverse, and might interest fans of Pedro the Lion, Dismemberment Plan, Rob Crow, etc.

Austin, TX-based Panther Country has posted their first recording. The group features members of Saw Wheel, Red Team Go and The Bomb System and the song, "Winter Smoke," can be heard at their Bandcamp page.

New Jersey's Fierce Brosnan has posted an unmastered track entitled "Sundays" on their Facebook page. The group notably features members of Static Radio NJ and Let Me Run.

Homelife, Bike Tuff, School Damage, Colony

Either/Or Records has released a split 7-inch from Michigan acts Homelife and Bike Tuff. Each side of the split can be heard at the respective bands' Bandcamp pages linked in the previous sentence. The two bands plan to tour the midwest together to support the release.

Toronto, ON pop-punk outfit School Damage are streaming three new songs from an upcoming 7-inch at their MySpace page.

Let Me Out, Annelids, 300 Pounds

Warbird Entertainment will be releasing Let Me Out's debut album on March 24th, 2009. The Swedish hardcore act released the song "Disease" late last year and have posted more tracks at their MySpace page.

Annelids is the solo project of Bill Henderson, songwriter for New Jersey hardcore acts The Procedure and Between the Wars, and former guitarist of Thursday. The debut album Binomial Nomenclature is somewhat of a stylistic departure from those bands and contains 13 tracks of science- and biology-themed indie folk. The entire album can be downloaded for free at the band's website and sampled at their MySpace.

Santa Cruz, California's "Funk-n-Punk trio" 300 Pounds has signed a contract with DC-Jam Records to release their third L.P. titled Trail of Numbered Days.The album is scheduled for an early March release date and will be available for purchase at fine retailers everywhere. Norv Gorica, Slovenia's Elvis Jackson have posted a new single online for streaming. The song is titled "This Time" and will appear on their album Against The Gravity. You can listen to the song on the band's MySpace page.

Southern California's The Lyrics Game, has announced the release date for their debut EP, Home Edition. The record will be released on January 23, 2009, and will be available in California record stores and online retailers. For more information check out the band's MySpace page.

Paul Abrahamian, formerly of Armor For Sleep has started a new project called 1984. You can check it out at the MySpace.

Washington DC's The Scare have released a track from their upcoming EP Bad Things Come in Threes on their MySpace page. They also recorded a B side that is slated for the Revelation Records 20th Anniversary tribute compilation.

Criss Crass (original drummer for the Muffs) has joined Seattle Pop Punk Band Suburban Vermin. They will be releasing their first full length January 30th, and will be celebrating Criss's 30th anniversary playing music on February 20th, which will be recorded for a live cd/dvd. Portland band Hit & Run have posted two new songs from their upcoming CD There's no 'I' in 'Fuck You' on their Myspace page. The new CD is scheduled for release in January

The Queen City Saints recently released new tracks off their upcoming album titled Chorus of the Commoners, which will be released on January 27. The songs are called "Swing the Hammer" and "Verse Chorus Verse" and can be found on their MySpace page.
