The Flaming Tsunamis, Between You & Me, Kill Your Ex

Connecticut ska/metal band the Flaming Tsunamis has announced that Matt Covey (the Hand Grenade Serenade) has filled the vacancy in the band left when their previous drummer departed in March.

Volatile Recordings artist Between You & Me will be recording a new demo in July with producer Marc McClusky (Hit the Lights, Powerspace, June). Additionally, the band is currently looking for a new drummer. You can read about the requirements on the band's MySpace blog.

Kill Your Ex has posted a new song on Myspace entitled "Hades and Demeter." The song is from their forthcoming release From Words to Motion, which will be released in July through Mediaskare/ Crazy Lucky Records.

English post-hardcore act Reuben have released a video for their upcoming single 'Blood, Bunny, Larkhall' on Youtube.

Minneapolis punk/ska act the SuperSmashers have posted two new tracks on their myspace page. The tracks are from the new album entitled Someday which will be released via Neutral Run Records on May 29th. The band has posted their June Midwest/East Coast dates as well. Melodic hardcore/punk act Take Warning has posted some new music.The songs come from the band's debut EP, Leaving Here Tomorrow. Mathcore Frog has material available online.The band was recently the victim of a theft and was forced to cancel their tour. They are still planning to release their upcoming album. New Jersey-based The Gameplan has material available online.The band features lead singer Gary Bender (ex-The Fastlane) and has finished recording their new record with Rob Freeman of The Pilot (ex Hidden In Plain View). The Wolfnote, The City Drive, Summerside

Edmonton-based hardcore act The Wolfnote has posted some new music.Reluctant Records will be releasing The Wolfnote's critically acclaimed final release 'Sacred Bodies' on vinyl format. This album was produced, engineered and mixed by Alex Newport who also worked with The Icarus Line, At The Drive In, The Mars Volta, The Melvins and 400 Blows. Los Angeles-based The City Drive has material available online.The tracks come from their new EP, The Egocentra. The disc will contain a dance remix of "Runner", two acoustic tracks "Always Moving Never Stopping" and a brand new demo of the song "Behind Closed Doors." Oakville, Ontario-based Summerside has debuted some music online. They have announced that producer Tim O'Heir will be recording their new album. Druglords of the Avenues, Cosmonaut, former members of No Regrets

Druglords of the Avenues, which features Johnny Bonnel of Swingin Utters fame, has posted three rough, unmixed tracks from their upcoming release. You can hear "Nothing Really Going On," "Me Decided" and "Meatballs and Corn Stew" at their MySpace page.

Former members of Detroit ska-punk outfit No Regrets have posted a "teaser track" for their new band at their former band's MySpace page. The new band features former lead guitarist Jamie Burnham as the lead singer and guitarist, drummer Rob Nowak, alongside former White Lies guitarist Kyle Davis and newcomer Kyle Schanta. Last Laugh, Centinel, Tulsa Drone

South Florida's Last Laugh have a new music video. The track is "Cut Me Loose" from their second album No Regrets. The video was produced "100% DIY" by Last Laugh and Mike Stebe. here. Also Last Laugh will be recording soon for a new upcoming cd that will be released by the end of summer.

Centinel, which features Justin from recently defunct Deep Elm band Clair De Lune along with Adam, Adam, and Kristian from Icollide, have posted a couple of songs from their upcoming, as of yet unnamed, debut EP. You can hear the songs at their MySpace page.

Tulsa Drone are getting ready for their follow up to their 2004 debut No Wake with ten tracks for Songs From A Mean Season. The album was produced by Scott Minor of Sparklehorse and is being released on May 8th. You can hear three tracks at their webpage and more at their MySpace page.

Tracks from the split 7" featuring the Mercury League and the Dauntless Elite have been posted online. The split was released last week via Berlin, Germany-based YoYo Records. Swedish punk rockers Lucien have released their debut s/t album through Irish label Deadlamb Records. The band describes their music as "fast, dark rock that marries punk and extreme metal without becoming any of them; along with sharp socio-political [and] heartfelt lyrics, and an honest DIY attitude."The band features members of Mr.Zippy, Construcdead, Maze of torment and OhWeBe. The Little Millionaires, which features former members of defunct act Bombs Over Providence, have posted a new demo. You can hear "Deathstar" at their MySpace page.

Time Spent Driving has posted a few tracks from their upcoming record I Am Your Stab in the Back for Lorelei Records on a new media player on their website. You can stream a few songs in the media player on their webpage as well as download "Brown/Blue" and "Lowlight" at their music page. The band has not released anything since 2002's Just Enough Bright on Sessions Records.

Thriller has signed to Guevara Entertainment and will release their self-titled EP June 12th. They're headed out on a nationwide Summer tour with Pluto Records' The Orangeburg Massacre. You can hear "Sorry But It's Satire" and "Keeping Morale at A…" at their MySpace page.
