Ian Watkins killed in prison attack

Earlier this morning, Ian Watkins of Lostprophets was killed in a prison attack. Watkins was serving a 29 year sentence for a litany of crimes surrounding child molestation, pedophelia, and other atrocious acts. Early reports state that the killing may have been done with a knife by another inmate. Prison authorities in the UK stated: "West Yorkshire Police said they found the 48-year-old former musician dead at the scene after responding to an assault on a prisoner. " Details are developing. Watkins was previously stabbed in prison about two years ago. We will keep you updated.

No Doubt announce Sphere Las Vegas residency

No Doubt have announced a six-show run at the Sphere in Las Vegas, Nevada. The shows will all take place in May, beginning on May 6 and running until May 16. Tickets will go on sale to the general public on October 17, with an artist presale happening on October 15. No Doubt played the FireAid Benefit Concert in Los Angeles earlier this year. Cherym and Uninvited announce split, share “Sofabed” video

Derry-based punk rockers Cherym and Glasgow-based pop punk band Uninvited have announced that they will be releasing a split called The Afterparty. It will be out on October 24 via Alcopop! Records. The bands have released a video for their new song “Sofabed” which was directed by Daniel Blake. Cherym released their album Take It Or Leave It in 2024. Uninvited released their EP I Feel A Bit Weird in 2023. Check out the video below.

Today marks the release of Ohio-based death metal band Sanguisugabogg's new album Hideous Aftermath. The album finds the band digging deeper into their sound as they kick out ten tracks full of pure sonic brutality.
