Thrice to release new album, share “Gnash” lyric video

Thrice have announced that they will be releasing a new album. It is called Horizons/West and will be out on October 3 via Epitaph Records. The band has also released a lyric video for their new song “Gnash”. The album is a companion to their 2021 album Horizons/East. Thrice will be touring the US and Canada starting in October. Die Job have released a new song. It’s called “The One Where Cyrus Has Friends” and is off their upcoming EP Hazards of Occupation which will be out on August 8 via Kinda Cool Records. Die Job released their self-titled album in 2022. Check out the song below.

Worriers announce final tour dates

Worriers have announced their final tour dates. Tiny Stills will be joining them on all dates aside from their October 11 show in Los Angeles and Ricky will be joining them on all dates. The trek kicks off on October 11 in Los Angeles and wraps up on October 18 in San Francisco. Lauren Denitzio announced their decision to wrap up the project earlier this year. Worriers released their albums Warms Blanket and Trust Your Gut in 2023. Check out the dates below.

Cheerbleederz: “I deserved better”

Cheerbleederz have released a new song. It is called “I deserved better” and is available digitally via Alcopop! Records. The band will be releasing an EP later this year and have a short run of EP release shows around the UK in September. Cheerbleederz released their album even in jest in 2022. The Damned cancel upcoming Pacific Northwest shows

The Damned have cancelled their upcoming shows in Seattle, Portland, and Vancouver which were set to take place this weekend. The band released a statement on Instagram that reads,

”We are very sorry to have to cancel our Seattle, Portland and Vancouver shows this weekend, due to an unexpected and catastrophic event at a member of The Damned’s home.

We apologise for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. Refunds will be available for our two headline shows at your point of purchase.”

(LA's) People Talk (members of Alice Bag, Redd Kross, Jawbox, Roddy Radiation) release LP

(LA's) People Talk is a new band featuring members Sharif Dumani (Alice Bag, Exploding Flowers, Classics of Love), Janet Housden (Redd Kross, Love Dolls), Adam Wade (Jawbox, Shudder To Think, Sweet 75), Liam Philpot (Jimmy Cliff, Roddy Radiation), Dan Collins (The Shakes), and Jesse Benson (The L.A. Times). They have just released their debut LP, which also comes with a 7-inch. The record is jsut being released now, but it was recorded at the end of 2011/beginning of 2012, with mixing and additional tracking completed in 2024. The album features guest vocals and album artwork by Jesse Michaels (Operation Ivy, Classics of Love, Common Rider). That's out now via Recess records.

Ozzy Osborne has passed away

Just weeks after his final performance (solo and with Black Sabbath, Ozzy Osbourne has passed away. He was 76. Osbourne's family released a brief statement: "“It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time.” We send our condolences to Ozzy's family, friends, and fans. We will update you if more information is released.
