Tijuana, Mexico-based punk band Violencia have released a new song called “Syndrome Del Impostor”. The song is off their upcoming split with Dry Socket which will be out on October 10 via To Live A Lie Records and Get Better Records. Dry Socket released their first single from the split, “Last Chance”, in August. Violencia released their album Viviendo Tiempos Aun Mas Oscuros in 2023. Check out the song below.
Today we are MAD PSYCHED to debut a video from the most recent Musack Carnival. Musack raises money to benefit music education and every year they throw a show to help out the youth through music education programs and instrument donations. Founded on Nantucket by tv writer Donick Cary (Simpsons, Parks and Recreation, Have a Good Trip) after a rash of teen suicides in his former high school fifteen years ago, Musack has grown to support programs coast to coast and beyond, encouraging kids to share their voice through music.
Today's video is wild. Fred Armisen and the Go's ( (Charlotte Caffey, Gina Schock, and Jane Wiedlin) of the Go-gos) cover "Fistfight in the parking lot from Armisen's 2013 SNL sketch. It's wild.
The video was directed by Matt Rowbottom and Produced by AntiCurrent Productions. Andrew Klokow and Amy Gunson handeled camera duties.

AFI have released a video for their new song “Holy Visions”. The video was directed by Gilbert Trejo. The song is off their upcoming album Silver Bleeds The Black Sun… which will be out on October 3 via Run For Cover Records. AFI will be touring the US starting later this month and released their album Bodies in 2021. Check out the video below.
Evan Greer has released a lyric video for her new song “Problem” which features guest vocals from Liz Berlin of Rusted Root. The video was created by @motions_craft. Edmonton-based punk rockers Home Front have announced that they will be releasing a new album. It is called Watch It Die and will be out on November 14 via La Vida Es Un Mus Discos. The band has also released a video for their new song “Light Sleeper” which was directed by DR. HOPE. Home Front released their album Games of Power in 2023 and will be supporting Cock Sparrer at their two final Los Angeles shows in November. Check out the video and tracklist below.
Dave Hause has released a new song. It is called “Yer Outta My Hair” and is off his upcoming album …And The Mermaid which will be out on September 26. On this record Dave’s band, the Mermaid, is made up of Tim Hause, Luke Preston, Mark Masefield, and Kevin Conroy. Dave Hause will be touring Europe as part of the ’Common Thread’ Tour in October and will be touring the US and Ontario with Bouncing Souls this winter. Check out the song below.
Brooklyn-based punk rockers MONTE have released a video for their new song “Popular Too”. The video was directed and edited by guitarist and vocalist Caitlin Montclare. The song appears to be a standalone single and is available digitally. MONTE released their EP This Is MONTE in 2022. Check out the video below.
Matt Pryor of The Get Up Kids has announced that he will be releasing a new solo album. It is called The Salton Sea and will be out on November 14 via Nightshoes Syndicate. He has also released the title track. Check out the song tracklist below.
Green Day have released a teaser trailer for their upcoming comedy movie New Years Rev. The movie was directed by Lee Kirk and stars Mason Thames, Kylr Coffman, Ryan Foust, Jenna Fischer, Angela Kinsey, Fred Armisen, Bobby Lee, Mckenna Grace, Keen Ruffalo, Ignacio Diaz-Silverio, and Sean Gunn. The movie was announced back in February. The band put out a casting call for “punks, alts, emos, goths, and rockers” to be extras for the movie earlier this year and put out another casting call for extras back in March to be part of the crowd at one of their shows. New Years Rev will premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 12. Check out the trailer below.
