QWAM have released a lyric video for their new song “About You”. The video was directed by Francesca Pazniokas and lead vocalist Felicia Lobo. The song is off their upcoming album girls aren’t afraid of blood which will be out on August 1. QWAM released their single IDC [7-inch] in 2022 and released their self-titled album, QWAM , in 2019. Today marks the release of the debut EP by Boston-based metal band Gloomlurker! The EP is called Terror Absolute and features three tracks that highlight the band’s signature blend of black metal, doom metal, death metal, and sludge.
The EP was recorded at New Alliance Audio by Otto Klammer with additional recording done at Pepper’s Palace by drummer Connor Dunbar and guitarist, bassist, and vocalist Jess Lom. It was mixed by Aki McCullough at Nu House Studios and mastered by James Plotkin.

Ganser have released a video for their new song “Discount Diamonds”. The video was directed by the band’s Alicia Gaines. The song is off their upcoming album Animal Hospital which will be out on August 29 via Felte Records. Ottawa-based punk rock mom band Wet for Days have announced that they will be releasing their debut album. It is self-titled and will be out in September. The band has released their first single from the record called “Alpha Male". Wet for Days released a jam recording of this song along with a jam recording of “Listen Up” in 2022. Toronto-based music festival Project Nowhere has announced its first wave lineup for this year. The Armed, No Joy, Truck Violence, TEKE::TEKE, Ribbon Skirt, PISS, Witchrot, Bonnie Trash, Dear Evangeline, CDSM, Noble Rot, Witchrot, Cootie Catcher, and Water From Your Eyes are among the bands announced. Project Nowhere will take place on October 2-4 across several venues around Toronto including The Baby G, Hanks Liquor, Nineteen Seventy Eight, The Garrison, St. Anne’s Parish, and BSMT 254.
