Knowhere Records 4-way split, the Massacres, Apathy For An Enemy

Knowhere Records recently released a four way split featuring the Sedations, the Bricktops, the Hollywood Nightmares, and the Griswalds. Each band contributed four songs to the release.

Bouncing Betty Records have announced the signing of Chicago psychobilly act The Massacres. The band's new record Redemption will feature 11 tracks and follow up their 2006 full length Season of the Scarecrow. The release is set to hit retail and iTunes on March 4th and will be featured at the release show on February 27th at the Metro with the Horrorpops, The Pink Spiders, and Steve E. Nix and the Cute Leppers. Bouncing Betty Records has the song "Love You to Death" available for free download on MySpace.

Flint, MI's Apathy For An Enemy has posted two new songs. The band has also posted dates for two weekend trips in March after a four month hiatus. Look for the band to tour with Lansing, MI's Cheap Girls and Chicago, IL's FaceOff. Dates and music can be found over at MySpace.

Botox Party, Rentokill, SleeperHorse

Richmond, VA's pop punks Botox Party have announced a new full length CD to be released through Raise Your Fist Records. The band will record in April or May. A European tour is also being discussed.

Austrian punks Rentokill have posted a stream of their latest album Anti–Chorus online at Big Cheese Magazine. The album was released last May via No Reason Records in collaboration with Rude Records and Broken Heart Records. The stream can be found here. The band is also working on a split with Alternative Tentacles' Boston based Disaster Strikes

Denver's SleeperHorse is hitting the studio soon. The band is recording a full length to be released in April on a label to be announced. A 7'' split with Echoes of Harpers Ferry on Ownlife Records is due for release in April as well.

Red Tape Parade, The Feisty Piranhas, She Rides

Red Tape Parade ask their listeners to choose the songs from their demo (which is available for free on their homepage) they want to hear re–recorded on their upcoming debut album.

Southern California group The Feisty Piranhas will perform live at a benefit concert to raise funds for the new Arts Building at Crespi Carmelite High School, 5031 Alonzo Ave., Encino, on Friday, March 7. Crespi High is the alma–matter of Slash, not that you needed to know that.

Providence, RI's She Rides have posted songs from their upcoming EP on City of Hell Records on their MySpace page. The EP is available through said MySpace page, and will be available on iTunes in March.

In The Face, A Girl A Gun A Ghost, Live Set Disaster

Lowell, Massachusetts ska–punk act In The Face have posted their first new recordings in 18 months. The new music includes two staples of their live set, and a new acoustic track. You can check them out at the band's MySpace page. Tour dates across New England can be found there as well.

Savannah, GA's A Girl A Gun A Ghost have posted a new track online titled "Pangolin Dreams". This song will appear on their upcoming album Through The Eyes of AhaB, due out March 18th from SOA Records. You can check out the music at PureVolume.

Clifton Heights, Pennsylvania punk rock act Live Set Disaster has released a new full length titled, appropriately, Clifton Heights Punk Rock. Six songs from the record are streaming free at MySpace for your sampling pleasure.

No No Zero, Tiefigher, Pretty & Nice

Southern Californian melodic hardcore/punk band Tiefighter recently completed filming a video for the song "Everything" from their upcoming album I Could Tell The World…. The video was directed by AG (First To Leave, Countdown) and will debut on Tuesday March 18th to coincide with the release of the album on Forward Looking Records. A European tour in April and a full US tour in June are planned to support.

Toronto band No No Zero, featuring former members of The Exploders, will release their debut record Rough Stuff on March 4, 2008 in Canada. Initially self released as vinyl only, the Signed By Force label will now re–release the album as CD, vinyl and a digital download. A US release date is pending.

Label Hardly Art has announced the signing of Pretty & Nice. The Boston "glitch rock" four–piece will release an as–yet–untitled album from the group later this year. Pretty & Nice will be headed out on tour with Exit Clov next month, with all tour dates available on the label's site.

Bastards of Young, No Secrets Between Sailors, Orphan Choir

Sacramento, California's Bastards of Young have released a four song demo titled We're Alright. You can download it on their MySpace page. The band features former members of Hanover Saints.

California's Get Stoked Records is set to release the self–titled debut 7" from Portland, Oregon's No Secrets Between Sailors. The record, mastered by Paul Miner of Death By Stereo, will hit stores on March 1st. The art for the record was done by Gus Bowman of the band Unrestrained. No Secrets Between Sailors features ex–members the Dead Unknown and the Physical Challenge.

Windsor, Ontario folk punk act Orphan Choir have posted new tracks to their myspace from two upcoming 7"s. The first is a split with Unwelcome Guests due out on Salinas by the end of the month. The second is a split with the Amistad on UK labels Document, and Records Or It Didn't Happen. You can check out all the music via MySpace.

Chicago's The Frantic will be heading out on tour supporting their debut release Audio & Murder. The Frantic also have special guests One Small Step For Landmines from early February until March. Get tourdates and samples of their music at their MySpace page.

Chicago's Football Weather recently made their new EP Lights! Camera! Awesome! available for free download. You can grab the album at their MySpace page. It was produced by Tom Schleiter of Fueled By Ramen's Powerspace.

Frank White, Action Design, Broken Gold

Detroit's Frank White have posted 3 brand new songs for download. The tracks include a cover of "Murder on My Mind" by the Lillingtons. The songs are available on their MySpace.

The Action Design, which features former mebers of Tsunami Bomb Emily Whitehurst and Matt McKenzie alongside Jaycen from Pipedown and Jake from Calcutta Bazaar, have begun posting dates for a southwest tour to take place this spring. Check them out at their MySpace page

Ian M and Pat Lillard of Riverboat Gamblers have joined with Rich Cali from Austin's Leaves to form an Austin–based sideproject called Broken Gold. You can hear an acoustic demo at their MySpace page.

The Eighty Sixed, The Koffin Kats, The Bastard Suns

Saint Paul, Minnesota's the Eighty Sixed are headed out on a west coast tour soon. The Charged Records act will be performing alongside the Angel City Outcasts on some dates. You can check out dates and song samples via the streetpunk act's MySpace page.

Michigan psychobilly act the Koffin Kats will embark on their first European tour on February 28th, kicking things off in London with a show alongside the Fighting Cocks. You can find all the dates at MySpace. The band has been working on their new full length Drunk In The Daylight for release this year on Hairball 8 Records.

North Atlanta punk / reggae act The Bastard Suns have a new video online, featuring footage of them performing the song "Alley Cat" this past New Years. You can check it out at YouTube.
