Lockstep, Sounds Of Goodbye, Homemade

Lockstep, which features former members of Naptones, recently spent some time at the Engine Room studios in Indianapolis recording two upcoming EP releases. There'll be a four song 7" coming out in February and a CD ep to kick off their March tour. Expect a preview at their MySpace page soon.

After losing their guitar player, and bass player, they have finally found a solid lineup. Sounds of Goodbye are working on a return tour this spring. They'll be releasing a 6 song EP soon and are playing their first return show tonight in Buffalo, NY. Check out some tracks at their MySpace page.

Capsule, Telestai, Casting Curses

Miami, Florida's Capsule have posted another track from their forthcoming Blue album, which will be released as a vinyl 12" and CD of the same material packaged together. Comprised of ten tracks total, the song "Going Home" has been posted on the band's myspace page. You can check it out right here.

Telestai, featuring former members of I Am Ghost have posted a new song from their debut EP. The record is titled Start The Revolution and is due out January 01, 2008. You can find "Armed Resistance" on their myspace page.

Oneonta's own Casting Curses have put their debut EP, Fat City up for free download on Myspace. The two–song EP is likened to albums by hardcore ala Hope Conspiracy. You can check out the EP on their myspace page.

The Famine, Transit, Sounds Of Goodbye

The Famine, which festures former members of Embodyment, have completed recording their Solid State debut with producer Andreas Magnusson (The Black Dahlia Murder, The Agony Scene). The effort will see a release early next year with more details to be announced in the coming weeks. You can check out some of the band's past work via MySpace.

Buffalo, NY's Sounds of Goodbye have solidified their lineup. The band now features new bassist Ryan Kozlowski, and guitarist Hank Belding. In addition, lead singer Al Halas is also finally off crutches (he broke his foot playing a show in July). With the band back in shape, a spring tour is being booked with plans to record an EP set for March. You can check out some of the band's work at MySpace.

Grand Fatal, Memorial, Raining & OK

Newtown, Australia's Grand Fatal are streaming their new track "Dots & Dashes" online at MySpace. The band recorded recently with long term collaborator JonBoyRock (Hard Ons, Regular John, Hy–Test, Further, Nunchukka Superfly). They're following up their acclaimed full length Allies.

Flightplan Records will be putting out the new Memorial record soon. The 9 song LP The Creative Process/Berlin is set to be released in late winter. You can check out some of the band's music via MySpace.

Arizona rock act Raining & Ok has music streaming online via MySpace. Earlier this month the band gave a "pay what you want" download system a shot and offered up their debut full length The Devil on Your Shoulder for a limited time.

Punk rock group The Short Fused have posted a second song from their upcoming full–length. Check out their original Christmas carol, "Xmas Sell Out" on their MySpace page.

Pop–punkers The Guts have posted a new track from their new album, Let It Go online. The album will be out some time next year, via Rally Records, who are streaming the song "Down The Drain" on their MySpace page.

Hudson has posted two songs from their new EP recorded with John Naclerio (Brand New, My Chemical Romance). The songs are titled "Too Far Gone" and "So Much for Second Chances" on their MySpace page.

Man and Wasp have posted two tracks from their debut EP. The band features members of Darkest Hour, Frodus, Decahedron, and Division of Laura Lee. Grab them at their MySpace page.

Mybe has received financial backing and entered the studio to begin recording their followup to Small Man Syndrome. They are recording with Carl Bown (Fightstar) at Tree House Studio.

After the Fall, The Guts, L.E.S. Stitches, Phone Trio

After The Fall from Albany, NY, recently recorded songs for a split 7" with Transitions and a Kid Dynamite Tribute compilation. Both releases will be out in early 2008 and you can hear a song from each at their MySpace page.

The Guts have finished recording their new record Let It Go for Rally Records at Smart Studios. The album was produced by Ben Weasel and you can find more information at their MySpace page.

Recently reunited NYC punks Lower East Side Stitches have posted 2 new songs. These are the first finished recordings the band has released since 2000's Lower East Side on Artemis Records. Go listen to the new songs "Better Than Ever" and "Johnny's on a Rampage" at their MySpace page.

Downers, Empty Orchestra, Kool-Whip

Downers from Waterford, MI, have posted several new songs up. The band promises tracks in the vein of Refused and Give Up The Ghost and you can find them on their MySpace page Empty Orchestra from Flint, MI, just finished shooting a new music video in Flint's historic Capitol Theater with director Mike Berlucchi.
