Loud Women has announced the first-wave lineup for their inaugural Canadian festival. Angel Girl, Burry, Loviet, Maria and Claire, Pillow Fite, and Sophie Noel will be playing. The festival will take place on October 18 at Propeller Arcade in Halifax, Nova Scotia. See the poster below.

Die Spitz have released a video for their new song “RIDING WITH MY GIRLS”. The video was directed by Bita Ghassemi. The song is off their album Something to Consume which was released last week via Third Man Records. Die Spitz are currently touring the US supporting Viagra Boys and will be touring North America starting in October. Check out the video below.

Gerard Way and members of The Interrupters start new project, The Mock-Ups

On September 13, Gauzy Records announced that a new song by a new project called The Mock-Ups would be coming soon. The band features Gerard Way of My Chemical Romance on vocals and bass, head of Signature Artists at Fender, Michael Schulz, on guitar, keys and production by Kevin Bivona of The Interrupters, drums by Jesse Bivona of The Interrupters, and backing vocals by Aimee Interrupter, also of The Interrupters. The song was engineered by the late Doug McKean, who passed away in 2022. According to the Instagram post, the song is called “I Wanna Know Your Name” and a snippet of the track can be heard in the post. Check out the post in full below.

Brighton-based rockers congratulations have announced that they will be releasing their debut album. It is called Join Hands and will be out on February 13 via Bella Union. The band has also released a video for their new song “This Life” which was directed by Leila-Mae Rummery and edited by Jamie Chellar. congratulations released their EP Slap in 2024. Motorhead announce 'Killed By Deaf: A Punk Tribute to Motorhead'

Motorhead have announced that they will be releasing a new tribute album called Killed By Deaf to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the band. The album features punk bands including Pennywise, Rancid, Lagwagon, GBH, Slaughterhouse, and FEAR covering Motorhead songs. It will be out on October 31 via BMG. A video has also been released of Motorhead joining The Damned for their song “Neat Neat Neat” (which is the only non-Motorhead song on the album). The song and video were recorded in 2002. Black Budget: “Grump”

Black Budget have released a new song. It is called “Grump” and is the second song they’ve released so far this year, following “Insanity” in January. The song appears to be a standalone single and is available digitally now via King Pizza Records. Black Budget released two singles in 2024 and released their EP Crown of Misery in 2022.
